Recently, Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation released the list of 2021 Guangdong Pilot Units for Standardization (demonstration site). With its solid technological strengths, industrial leading position, and good standardization basis, Yinlong was chosen to build one of the pilot units-- Guangdong Pilot Unit for Standardization of Assembly Parts for New Energy Vehicle(Yinlong Assembly Parts Standardization Pilot Unit).

Yinlong Received Honorary Appointment

To fully implement the Standardization Administration of China’s work deployment for advancing the establishment of pilot units and demonstrative area for standardization and improve the quality of such establishment, and to lead a high quality economic and social development in Guangdong Province, the Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation began collection of projects for the 2021 Pilot Units for Standardization across the province. These purposes of these projects are to establish pilot units for standardization in the service industry or strategic emerging industry through planning and to encourage local enterprises to explore creative ways for establishing standard systems. Ultimately, they should provide successful experience that is duplicable and transferable to be promoted in the entire province and offer valuable reference to the establishment and implementation of standard systems across different fields in Guangdong.

At the authorization ceremony held on April 28^th, Long Hong, head of the Standardization Department of Zhuhai Administration for Market Regulation, said that “to standardize is to tackle the difficulties, bottlenecks and pain points of the production process, it is a direction for research and redevelopment, a process of sorting production links. We expect Yinlong to take products to a higher level with standardization.” Huang Rongjie, vice director of Jinwan District Administration for Market Regulation, added that “Yinlong is right to recognize the importance of standardization and set up a department and team for standardization. I believe that they will have more and bigger achievement in the process of standardization.”

As expressed by Jiang Shiyong, vice president of Yinlong, “By seizing the opportunity of the establishment of pilot unit, and under the supervision of the Zhuhai Administration for Market Regulation, Yinlong will carry out the standardization by drawing on the strengths of its current products, future products and its market share. This is a win-win situation. Yinlong will continue to look into details and follow relevant requirement strictly in carrying out the establishment and improvement of pilot unit for standardization, while pursuing an upward development path for itself.”

Strengthening Standard-making Process, Promoting Industrial Development

In 2020, the "New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Plan (2021-2035)" issued by the Office of the State Council proposed that the development of new energy vehicles in China is facing problems such as core technology innovation ability to be strengthen, quality assurance system to be improved, infrastructure construction still lagging behind, industrial ecology not sound, and market competition increasingly intensified. The Key Points of Standardization of New Energy Vehicles in 2020 propose to continuously optimize the standard system, accelerate the development of key standards, deepen international exchanges and cooperation, give play to the leading role of standards in technological innovation and industrial upgrading, and support the high-quality development of new energy vehicles in China.

Standardization is an important foundation for enterprises to innovate technologies and for the industry to develop. Guided by the national work focus for the standardization of new energy vehicles, Yinlong Pilot Unit for Standardization of New Energy Vehicle Parts, with a high-quality development of the new energy automobile industry as the goal, will draw on its technological and geographic advantage of being a new energy automobile enterprise in the Guangdong-Hongkong-Macau Greater Bay Area, to integrate the current core technologies of the new energy automobile industry with the standardization of vehicle assembly parts, and to help promote development of the industry with standardization. 

The Pilot Unit for Standardization of Vehicle Parts in Yinlong will take the intelligent manufacturing workshop for LTO batteries as the main site for carrying out standardization. With systematic management platform and manufacturing data center as important supports, the pilot unit will integrate standardized work management with the full process of intelligent production, with an aim to reduce operation cost for production by 30% and product failure rate by 5% and to increase production efficiency by 40% and energy utilization rate by 15%. It is to make sure that there is a standard to follow and that the standard is followed for every product data, and provide a feasible plan for reference for the standardization and digitalization of key technical manufacturing process in the new energy automobile industry. For a long time, Yinlong has actively participated in the many events organized by the Institute of Standardization of China Automotive Technology and Research Center and the National Technical Committee of Auto Standardization. It has been involved in the compiling of 6 national standards, 7 industrial standards, 18 organizational standards and has passed the evaluation for “AAAAA Enterprise For Good Standardization Performance”. 

As a pilot unit for standardization of parts for new energy vehicles in Guangdong, Yinlong will continue to strengthen the transfer of scientific and technological achievements, convert technological innovation into standards, promote application of standardization of technologies and production. It will continue to help the industry to establish standards, improve quality, promote growth, and achieve an all-around and vigorous development of the new energy automobile industry.
